Volunteer Night

This is a fun and relaxed way to meet other volunteers. We gather to work as a group on condom packs, red ribbons or whatever needs to be done. Come find out how you can become part of the AIDS Delaware team. Food and beverages are provided so you can come straight from work! We meet from 5pm until 8pm every first Wednesday at the AIDS Delaware office.

Personal Products Drive

Volunteers needed: 20. Our Personal Care Products Closet has been rather bare lately as critical funding has been cut. We are making the shortage up our of our own budget and through volunteer efforts in the community. Our clients depend on these products because they can't afford to buy them. Food stamp programs consider soap a luxury! You can help by holding a drive at your church or workplace to collects these desperately needed items. Among the most needed items are: bars of soap, shampoo, deodorants, toilet paper, canned and packaged goods like pastas and vegetables, and toothbrushes. Even the little hotel sized items are welcome if your group has travelers just dying to get rid of these items in their medicine cabinets and suitcases! AIDS Delaware will supply you with a kit that includes posters, flyers and boxes and suggestions on how to make your drive as successful one. Kent / Sussex County Opportunities

AIDS Delaware could use your help in Sussex and Kent Counties. Specifically we need your assistance in these areas:

Persons fluent in Spanish or willing to work with Spanish speakers are especially needed.
