Nearly eleven years ago AIDS Delaware had $400,000 in revenues, served only Wilmington, and reached about 2,000 Delawareans annually.

Thanks to your capital investments and the entrepreneurial and social-mindedness of the staff, board of directors, and volunteers, we will reach most of Delaware’s 800,000 plus residents with our statewide programs that include all forms of media with a social message. We now cover the state as a truly statewide agency with our four offices.

We are no longer simply a non-profit (a tax description), we are more: we are a “Social Profit Organization” that, through our creative and dedicated staff, volunteers, and partners bring strong social benefits to our community. We also give you strong social return on your investment in us. We aggressively seek out opportunities to leverage your investment in us to create synergies across traditional delineations.

In this vein, I am honored to announce the most recent of capital investments in our “Social Profit” endeavors. Drs. George Benes and Michael Mallee have generously invested their third $100,000 + with us to support programming for GLBT youth. They challenge all of us to match their generosity helping ease the road for our young who are our future. They will match every contribution we receive earmarked for this purpose up to a total of $102,000.
